Price increases apply to all pack types; rolls, folio and cut size. All current standard differentials and upcharges remain in effect.

ANDRITZ receives order for a major disc filter rebuild from SCA Pulp, Sweden

International technology group ANDRITZ has received an order from SCA (Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget) to rebuild a disc filter at their pulp mill in Ortviken, Sundsvall, Sweden. After the rebuild, the production capacity of the disc filter (originally supplied by ANDRITZ) will be tripled to 900 bdmt/d, and the filtrate flow will be increased to a maximum of 130,000 l/min. Willamette Falls Paper Company Expands Manufacturing Capacity to Meet Demand for Coated Freesheet Paper (whattheythink.com)

This month marks a new milestone for paper production for Willamette Falls Paper Company (WFPC). On October 1, WFPC expanded its capacity on a third paper machine to manufacture additional coated freesheet paper. Previously only running at 50% capacity, this paper machine is now operating at 100% capacity to meet customer demand. This has increased our ability to produce additional tons of 60# and 70# text, as well as a new higher yield 75# Sonoma® coated grade.

Orient Paper, Inc. Pre-announces Unaudited Preliminary Financial Results for the Third Quarter 2017

Zhenyong Liu, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Orient Paper, commented, "Our third quarter results largely reflected the impact of a government mandated temporary restriction on production volume that has been in place since November 2016. Total revenue decreased by 10.6% year over year to $33.5 million on the back of a 36.1% drop in overall volume that more than offset the increase in blended average selling prices.
