GB Mail, The Mailing Specialist, Partners With Two Sides

The print and paper advocacy group, Two Sides, are excited to announce its newest partner member, the enclosing and mailing experts, GB Mail.

Set up in 2017 by Joe Ghadami, Gary Leonard-Pepin and Ben Taheri, the Aylesbury based mailing house specialises in fully automated high-speed paperwrap, polywrap and envelope enclosing. Also located on site is GB Mail’s storage and fulfilment department and digital print room housing eight production presses.

Walgreens Boots Alliance and McKesson Complete the Formation of German Wholesale Joint Venture

Walgreens Boots Alliance and McKesson Corporation announced the completion of their previously announced agreement to create a joint venture combining their respective pharmaceutical wholesale businesses in Germany, Alliance Healthcare Deutschland (AHD) and GEHE Pharma Handel (GEHE). WBA holds a 70 percent controlling equity interest in the joint venture and McKesson holds the remaining 30 percent interest. “At Walgreens Boots Alliance, we all look forward to working together with McKesson Corporation on this joint venture,” said Ornella Barra, co-chief operating officer, Walgreens Boots Alliance. “It is a very exciting step for our Pharmaceutical Wholesale Division and a unique chance for us to further develop innovative services to manufacturers and pharmacists in Germany.”

Grainger Announces Agreement to Divest Grainger China

Grainger announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to sell its distribution business in China, Grainger China LLC (Grainger China), to a purchaser owned by the Grainger China management team and Sinovation Ventures, a China-based venture capital firm. This divestiture will better enable Grainger to focus on its key businesses and geographies. To support this portfolio, the company will maintain its Global Sourcing operations based in China. Grainger's Global Sourcing provides the company with private label products in categories that include safety, cleaning, electrical, motors and tools.
