At drupa 2016, the world's leading trade fair for print and cross-media solutions, about 130 exhibitors will present their innovations related to workflow, automation, print technologies and their strategic cooperation models, marketing platforms and business models at the drupa innovation park (dip) in six theme parks as well as in the stage program and in daily interviews at the dip energy lounge. drupa will take place from May 31 – June 10, 2016 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany. As marketing concepts, business models and business platforms form the basis for innovations (in addition to technological advances), one of the six theme parks at dip will highlight business models and their application examples. The dip stage program will also address this topic with a dedicated daily slot. The importance of business models is recognized by Osman Zöllner, Head of Marketing/SEO/SEM/Creativ at WIRmachenDruck GmbH (Germany) and first-time exhibitor at dip: “Our products and services are innovative and provide visitors with new ideas on technologies, applications and trends. Being one of the leaders in online printing we see the drupa innovation park as a suitable platform for us to “implant” new ideas on the market and to learn about business models.”
Print+Promo, Printing Impressions’ sister brand, is proud to present its sixth annual “Women in Print and Promo” feature. This year’s group of honorees is rewriting the narrative of female representation in a traditionally male-dominated industry. They’re managing teams, driving growth and overseeing internal operations — all while navigating an unsettled business environment. Most importantly, they are teachers responsible for developing the next generation of inspirational women entering the workforce.
The 2019 list highlights women of varying professional backgrounds — from account managers to CEOs. Their love of a job well done is just one of many things that unite them.
Below are just some of the women in the print and promo industries included on this year’s list.
