The Navigator Company increases tissue prices by 6 to 8% effective 1st April 2021

The Navigator Company announced today that it will increase tissue prices by 6 to 8% in all markets.

This increase will be effective for all dispatches from 1st of April. The Company will inform its clients shortly about the details of the new prices to be applied.

This decision was taken following the generalised and significant price hikes in many input cost, notably in commodities like chemical products, packaging products (plastics and containerboard), logistics, and pulp, being the latter the main cost factor for tissue production.

The tissue industry has seen abrupt price increases of 15-20% or more in some of these input costs over the last 3 months, which made it impossible not to reflect these in its finished goods prices.

The Company will continue working to reinforce its partnerships with clients, strengthening its value proposition across several dimensions, appreciating the support provided by its large customer base.

This proclamation is particularly special to us because our Personal Care facility that manufactures our baby diaper products is in Delaware, Ohio.

Sole Source Portfolio Company ID Images Acquires Hickman Label

Sole Source Capital LLC, an industrial-focused private equity firm, announced that its portfolio company, ID Images (“IDI”), a premier provider of product identification solutions, has acquired Lebanon, Tennessee-based Hickman Label. The acquisition marks the fifth add-on investment for IDI since it became a Sole Source Capital portfolio company in August 2021. Terms of the transactions were not disclosed. Founded in 2016, Hickman Label is a provider of highly-customized label solutions for the ondemand inkjet market. On-demand inkjet labels enable customers to print small batch, prime labels via their own desktop printers. In addition, Hickman’s robust ordering platform has the unique capability of integrating into its distribution customers’ websites utilizing a plug-in tool. The company sells to a mix of distributors and end users with more than 2,000 active customers across North America.
