Trioworld publishes its Sustainability Report 2024

The report shows progress in the key areas that support a circular use of plastic – an increase in the post-consumer recycled (PCR) content across the product portfolio as well as the product offering of a comparable alternative that is designed for recycling. Trioworld also reports an increase in the volume of the product portfolio offering a Loop alternative, meaning a product with a minimum of 25% PCR.

Metsä Group has made the funding decisions for 2023 in its nature programme. Twenty-three projects were selected for funding to manage and restore Finland’s biodiversity. As a result of these selections, the projects are more diverse, and their geographical coverage is more extensive. Independent experts from the University of Eastern Finland, the Ministry of the Environment, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Sitra and the Central Union of Agricultural Producers and Forest Owners (MTK) participated in evaluating the project. Companies signed up for the program will be guided through key preparatory steps, including collecting geolocations and onboarding suppliers to the TradeAware platform, to ensure compliance readiness well ahead of the deadline. As part of the partnership, LiveEO develops a customised version of its EUDR platform TradeAware, that is specifically tailored to the needs of PEFC-certified organisations.
