Aptar Again Receives Platinum Rating from EcoVadis

Aptar has again achieved the Platinum level rating in recognition of its sustainability efforts from EcoVadis. The Platinum rating places Aptar among the top 1% of the more than 90,000 companies rated by EcoVadis across all industries.

EcoVadis has grown to be a highly trusted provider of business sustainability ratings and its methodology is built on international sustainability standards, including the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact, and the ISO 26000, covering 200+ spend categories and 170+ countries. The Sustainability Scorecard illustrates performance across 21 indicators in four themes: environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. Aptar received the Platinum Rating from EcoVadis based on these categories.

Metsä Board’s comparable operating result in January–September 2021 was EUR 295 million

January–September 2021 (compared to 1–9/2020) • Sales were EUR 1,565.6 million (1,416.4). • Comparable operating result was EUR 295.3 million (156.7), or 18.9% (11.1) of sales. Operating result was EUR 285.0 million (162.7). • Comparable earnings per share were EUR 0.65 (0.33), and earnings per share were EUR 0.63 (0.34). • Comparable return on capital employed was 19.4% (11.8). • Net cash flow from operations was EUR 209.8 million (226.7).

Mayr-Melnhof Group Reports Results for the 3rd quarter of 2020

At EUR 1,903.5 million, the Group's consolidated sales almost reached the previous year's level (1-3Q 2019: EUR 1,924.3 million). At EUR 169.3 million, the operating result was 13.4% or EUR 26.3 million below the previous year's figure (1-3Q 2019: EUR 195.6 million). This includes one-time expenses of EUR 57.5 million from adjustments necessary for market and structural reasons as well as the termination agreement with the former CEO. Of this, EUR 38.5 million are attributable to the cartonboard division and EUR 19.0 million to the packaging division. As a result, depreciation rose from EUR 101.6 million to EUR 137.8 million. The Group's operating margin was 8.9% (1-3Q 2019: 10.2%).
