Georgia-Pacific President and CEO, Christian Fischer, to Retire at the End of October

Products impacted by this price increase include, but are not limited to, the following: Ecopaque Offset, Ecopaque Laser; Equal (Offset & Book); Alternative (Opaque, Offset & Offset+); ResoluteSelect 75; ResoluteSelect 70, 65; ResoluteBook 75, 70, 65, 60 & ResoluteBook 70 Cream; Alternative Book, Alternative Book Cream; ResoluteSert Plus. The increase will be applicable to all basis weights and finishes, and all up charges apply.

Dr.-Ing. Fabian Gaus, 39, has joined the management board of LEIPA Group GmbH on 1 July 2020. He takes over the newly created function of Chief Sales Officer (CSO). His central field of responsibility in this function will be the goal- and future-oriented development of the LEIPA Group's sales activities. With a doctoral degree in mechanical engineering, Dr. Gaus has extensive knowledge in the manufacturing and energy industries, and with asset-heavy businesses in particular. Most recently, Dr. Gaus was Managing Director and CFO of Innogy Renewables US and Georgia Biomass, two subsidiaries of European utility innogy group in the United States. Georgia Biomass operates the largest wood pellet plant in the world.

After the release of the stock exchange notice of today at 17:21, the company has been informed that the board of Norske Skog AS has decided to support an extension of the consent solicitation deadline for the board's recapitalization proposal. However, due to practical matters, it was not possible to make the Norske Skog AS resolution within the deadline at 17:00 CET, and consequently, the offer period has expired. The discussions with the key stakeholder groups will continue in order to achieve a consensual recapitalization solution for the Norske Skog group during the next days even though the offer period has expired. If these discussions are successful, an updated recapitalization proposal will be launched.
