Lecta announces a price increase on its self-adhesive products effective for deliveries from 19th April 2021.
The increase will be from 8% to 10% depending on format and product.
The increase is necessary to offset the increase in manufacturing costs due to the continuously rising prices in raw materials.

The new broke handling will be part of the production line PM9 producing high-quality wet strength paper, such as label paper in the future. ANDRITZ will deliver high-consistency (HC) pulping, high-density (HD) cleaning and deflaking for processing the special type of broke. Specific trials on pulping and deflaking of wet-strength paper were conducted at the ANDRITZ stock preparation pilot plant in Graz, Austria in advance. The trials were carried out with comparable raw material from Sappi and confirmed the pulp properties and operating characteristics required by Sappi for the future. Sales of $4.7 billion in the third quarter of 2020 increased 1 percent compared to the year-ago period. Organic sales increased 3 percent, while changes in foreign currency exchange rates reduced sales 2 percent. Volumes rose 2 percent and the combined impact of changes in net selling prices and product mix increased sales 1 percent. In North America, organic sales increased 8 percent in consumer products but fell 15 percent in K-C Professional. Outside North America, organic sales rose 2 percent in developing and emerging markets and 3 percent in developed markets. Third quarter operating profit was $666 million in 2020 and $915 million in 2019. Results in both periods include charges related to the 2018 Global Restructuring Program. Results in 2019 also include a gain on the sale of a manufacturing facility as part of the restructuring.
Resolute Forest Products plans to put up a new distribution center at its Calhoun, Tenn., production site as the company grows its tissue business. The 300,000-square-foot distribution center under construction will provide storage for tissue products made at the mill, said Debbie Johnston, the company's director of U.S. public affairs. The goods later will be shipped to Resolute's retail customers, she said. Johnston said the center, slated for completion in August, will employ more than 30 people. She said construction of the center is the latest phase of $400 million Resolute is spending when it announced it was entering the tissue market in 2015.
