Lecta announces a price increase on all its Specialty paper grades of 10% effective for deliveries from 1 April 2021 for all European and Overseas markets.
The increase is necessary due to the sustained increase in prices of pulp and chemicals along with the sharp increase of freight costs. This follows Lecta’s previous announcement made on Thermal paper grades.

Twin Rivers Paper Company has announced the promotion of Tyler Rajeski to President and Chief Financial Officer. In the new role, Rajeski will oversee all functions of the business, including finance, procurement, operations, customer supply chain, sales and human resources. Rajeski continues to report to the Chief Executive Officer of Twin Rivers Paper, Debabrata ‘Deba’ Mukherjee. “Tyler has done a spectacular job leading several significant initiatives for Twin Rivers Paper, including a major refinancing of the business that has provided Twin Rivers with a strong working capital position, and the recent sale of the company’s Plaster Rock softwood lumber operation that benefits Twin with a long-term supply agreement,” stated Mukherjee. “Tyler’s impressive accomplishments in a relatively short timeframe have created strategic value for the business that will help ensure its long-term success.”
The Heinzel Group has now initiated its next strategic initiative in the packaging paper segment. This will see the installation of a second large paper machine for the production of bleached kraft papers at the Zellstoff Pöls AG location in Austria. So-called MG papers are employed for flexible packaging and demonstrate above-average market growth. Kurt Maier, the Heinzel Holding CEO: “Using the new machine, we will be able to manufacture 200,000 tonnes of MG papers annually at the Pöls location. With pulp production in Pöls being expanded at the same time, this has only marginal impact on our annual market pulp capacity of 400,000 tonnes. Following our recent investments at our Raubling and Laakirchen mills, the Pöls project represents another step forward on our packaging paper segment path.” Click Read More below for additional detail.
