Modern Litho – St. Louis Relocation

Modern Litho, a full-service commercial and publication printer headquartered in Jefferson City, Missouri, today announces a new location for its St. Louis operation. The new facility, located at 5001 Southwest Avenue on The Hill, will accommodate more than 67,000 sq. ft. of production and administration space, and will allow for expanded services in the St. Louis market including: enhanced digital printing, expanded mailing, on-site storage, and fulfillment.

“A lot has changed since 2018 when we first moved into the 5111 location. It has served us well and I believe contributed to helping us become the company we are today,” said Jeff Davidson, Owner. “We’ve experienced growth both organic and through strategic acquisition. Honoring our commitment to serving our customers means we must continue to invest in our workforce, equipment, and facilities,” Davidson went on to say.

Modern Litho –St. Louis has moved from the location on The Hill at 5111 Southwest Avenue to the new facility and is operating at 5001 Southwest Avenue as of November 8, 2023.

“This facility has just over 67,000 sq. ft., which more than doubles our production space. While our team is excited to settle into our new location, we’re most energized about the ability to bring our community and clients into the facility to showcase our capabilities and products in-person,” commented Skip Bray, President of Modern Litho-St. Louis.

Corporate Press Signs Agreement to Acquire McArdle Printing Assets

Corporate Press, an employee-owned commercial printer based in Lanham, Md., has entered into an agreement to acquire certain assets of McArdle Printing, of Upper Marlboro, Md., from its current owner, Bloomberg BNA. The sale includes McArdle's existing account base and some of the equipment. “We expect the transaction to close on September 30, after which Corporate Press and its subsidiary, ColorCraft, will consolidate their current 72,000-sq.-ft. Maryland and 42,000-sq.-ft. Virginia operations into McArdle’s existing 131,000-sq.-ft. facility," explains Michael Marcian, president of Corporate Press. Together, Corporate Press and Sterling, Va.-based ColorCraft of Virginia (which it acquired from the late James Mayes in 2012) comprise a total of 140 employees. Stevens Point Organizations Ignite Literacy Efforts for National Book Lovers Day

Worzalla, an employee-owned book printer, partnered with the Boys & Girls Club of Portage County to help local youth celebrate National Book Lovers Day. Worzalla associates and Boys & Girls Club of Portage County members hosted three group reading sessions across three Stevens Point area locations. “National Book Lovers Day gives people an opportunity to celebrate the impact literature has on education and storytelling across the world,” said Rich Letchinger, Vice President of Sales and Chief Marketing Officer at Worzalla. “Worzalla is committed to encouraging reading among community youth and our group reading sessions were a great way to inspire youth to read while sharing and discussing their favorite books.” Worzalla associates read classic stories out loud to 40-plus youth attendees including, Wisconsin author and illustrator Kevin Henkes’ “Chrysanthemum.” In addition, Worzalla’s big blue book mascot Paige Turner distributed free books and greeted youth before and after the reading sessions.
