Neenah Paper Announces Corporate Name Change to Neenah, Inc. Effective January 1

Sappi Limited announces its partnership with EcoVadis, a global leader in third-party evaluations of business sustainability performance. The two companies will collaborate to assess the sustainability performance of Sappi’s suppliers through proactive ratings and evaluations using EcoVadis’ methodology. As a global forest products leader, Sappi produces pulp, paper and biomaterials made from woodfibre sourced from well-managed forests and plantations. Sappi’s partnership with EcoVadis demonstrates its commitment to sustainability by empowering the company to gain a clearer view of its supply chain and suppliers, evaluate and promote responsible business practices, and scale its collective contribution to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as outlined in its Thrive25 business strategy.

Crown Van Gelder starts production of Crown Letsgo 3rd generation grades as of 1 February 2021. The Crown Letsgo 3rd generation grades will bring visible quality improvements in the print result of presses operating with pigment inks and provide the opportunity to improve the Total Cost of Print by reducing ink consumption (5-12%) and save on drying energy*. Crown Van Gelder will switch production for the following grades: *Crown Letsgo Universal; *Crown Letsgo Matte; *Crown Letsgo Silk and Bright Silk, ColorPRO branded version. Inkjet paper makes perfect sense, even now “substrate independent” solutions are offered by press manufacturers. For anyone wanting best runnability on their press, there is no alternative to good quality inkjet paper.

Please be advised that, effective with shipments October 1, 2017, the US transaction pricing from Catalyst Paper will increase $1.75/cwt ($35/short ton) for the following products: Electrabrite; Electrabrite Book; Electrastar. This increase applies to all basis weights, finishes and brightness.
