Nosco Inc., a subsidiary of Holden Industries, has announced that it has acquired Gooding Company, a New York-based insert and outsert manufacturer with over 141 years of printing experience. Through the acquisition of Gooding, Nosco will add an additional manufacturing facility on the East Coast that will help reduce lead times, lower packaging costs and provide an expanded portfolio of folded literature. Gooding was established in 1876 in Lockport, N.Y. In 1990, the company was sold to current president, Jerry Hace. MORTON GROVE, Ill. – February 16, 2018 – Quantum today announced industry leader Cheryl Kahanec as its new CEO, effective February 16, 2018.
Kahanec has more than 35 years of experience in the marketing communications and digital print industry, including transitioning traditional print companies into early digital success stories. In her leadership role at Quantum, she will drive the company’s strategic vision to continue to develop integrated and innovative solutions to help marketers succeed in today’s technology and data-driven marketplace.

Most recently, Kahanec served as president, Marketing Solutions Group for Mittera/EarthColor and prior to that, she was president, Digital Solutions at Sandy Alexander.

In 2016, Kahanec was inducted into the Ben Franklin Honor Society of Printing Industries of America, which recognizes and honors industry leaders who have made lasting contributions to advancing the printing and graphic communications industries. She has also been honored as a “Florence Joachim Woman Executive of the Year” and with the Printing Industries Alliance Franklin Luminaire Award. She also was named one of Outputlink Communications Group’s “Women of Distinction” and is a recipient of the Printing Industry of America’s “Naomi Berber Memorial Award.”
