Ahlstrom contributes to the availability of clean water with an expanded offering of long-lasting water filter media

Ahlstrom supports the water purification market and contributes to the availability of clean water by launching a new water filtration solution for enhanced particulate removal in pre-filtration applications. The new filter material can be used as a stand-alone or as a complement to the existing Ahlstrom Disruptor® and Hollytex® ranges.

The new pre-filter is suitable for both residential and industrial uses. It removes contaminants such as rust, sand, and other debris that may end up in water pipelines, ensuring the highest quality of water. The pre-filter delivers superior performance and quality consistency when used as a pleated filter design.

Engineered for durability, it can extend the filter lifespan and reduce the frequency of filter replacements. This not only contributes to cost savings but can also help minimize environmental impacts.

According to the report, total printing-writing paper shipments decreased 26 percent in December compared to December 2019. U.S. purchases of total printing-writing papers decreased 22 percent in December compared to the same month last year. Total printing-writing paper inventory levels remained essentially flat (+0.3 percent) when compared to November 2020. U.S. purchases of uncoated free sheet (UFS) papers in December decreased 17 percent compared to last December while the inventory level decreased one percent compared to November 2020. UFS imports increased 13 percent while exports decreased 31 percent in November 2020. Coated free sheet (CFS) paper shipments decreased 26 percent compared to December 2019 while the inventory level increased four percent compared to November 2020. Irving Consumer Products Announces Expansion and Construction of New Tissue Production Plant in Macon, Georgia
