Klabin registers R＄ 1.344 billion Adjusted Ebitda in the second quarter of 2023

The largest producer and exporter of packaging paper and sustainable paper packaging solutions in Brazil, Klabin recorded Adjusted EBITDA (Earnings before Interest, Taxes, Fees, Depreciation and Amortization) of R＄ 1,344 billion in the second quarter of 2023, a decrease of 27% compared to the same period of the previous year, excluding one-off effects.

In the second quarter of 2023, the company achieved net income of R＄4.293 billion. It is worth highlighting the corrugated cardboard segment, whose revenue grew 5% in the second quarter of 2023 in the annual comparison. The positive result reinforces the benefits of Klabin’s integrated business model.

The ROIC (return on invested capital) reached 17.4% in the last 12 months, proving the Company’s ability to generate value for shareholders even in challenging economic scenarios.
