Smurfit Kappa win record number of awards at this year’s FIA ceremony
Smurfit Kappa has won 21 awards for its forward-thinking and innovative packaging solutions at this year’s Flexographic Industry Association (FIA) UK awards. Since 2013, Smurfit Kappa has received over 130 FIA awards, consolidating its industry-leading position in the packaging industry.
Smurfit Kappa’s sustainable packaging solutions received three gold, seven silver, seven bronze and three Highly Commended awards. Their Markham Vale site’s DRO – Operator Vince Ward also took home the highly coveted Student of the Year award, and the site themselves won the Silver award for the Best in Show category.
