Trioworld achieves EcoVadis Platinum sustainability rating for the third consecutive year

Trioworld, a leading producer of innovative, high-performance plastic packaging solutions in Europe and North America with its head office in Sweden, is proud to announce that it has once again received the EcoVadis Platinum medal, the highest-level of recognition from EcoVadis, a leading provider of business sustainability ratings.

EcoVadis assesses companies on their sustainability practices in the fields of Labour & Human Rights, Environment, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. Companies are rated on these sustainability themes and are attributed an overall score, which can result in a medal: bronze, silver, gold, or platinum. Only 1% of the 100,000+ companies assessed are awarded the Platinum medal.

Tetra Pak aims to launch a paper straw that is suitable for its portion-sized carton packages before the end of the year, as part of a broader programme to help address the issue of plastic straw waste.
