Specialty Print Communications (SPC) Celebrates 25-Years by Planting Trees

Specialty Print Communications (SPC), a Niles, Illinois based direct mail and digital solutions provider, marked 25 years in business on May 19th with a ceremony outside its offices.

From humble beginnings in 1996 as a print and promotional products provider, SPC has grown into one of the country’s largest independent marketing organizations, with nearly 400 employees providing print and digital solutions to blue chip clients in retail, etail, healthcare, financial services, automotive, travel & leisure, and other industries.

“SPC’s growth and perseverance is certainly a success story and mostly a testimony to building a business centered on our family values and extending those principles to our employees and client relationships,” said SPC president Adam LeFebvre. Adam, along with his brother Ryan who leads business development, are third generation LeFebvres in the print business and readily thank SPC’s loyal employees for their longevity. “It’s not about any one of us, but every one of us that makes SPC successful.”

To commemorate 25 years in business, SPC has partnered with One Tree Planted (www.gofundme.com), a non-profit organization focused on reforestation, which will plant 2,500 seedlings in hard-hit areas across the United States. “We really wanted to focus our positive energy outward to include our larger community.

SPC produces A LOT of direct mail” explains LeFebvre. “Mail continues to be an effective communications channel for many of our clients and we recognize our unique responsibility to help sustain the most precious resource used to make paper.”

SPC also held a ceremony at which CEO Paul LeFebvre and sons Adam and Ryan planted a commemorative maple tree on the company’s front lawn. The ceremony was attended by Niles, IL mayor George Alpogianis, marketing thought leader Deborah Corn, employees, friends, and other community dignitaries. Paul LeFebvre reflected on SPC’s amazing journey in his closing remarks by stating, “We’ve come a long way since my father Arthur LeFebvre turned to me to carry on his print business in 1971. I am so proud of my sons Adam and Ryan for growing SPC to where it is today. The business is in good hands and the future is bright.”
